Copper Penny is an impressive, spacious 2400 sqf Luxury Log Cabin Villa located in a tranquil area in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains that run between Oklahoma and Arkansas. It is tucked away on a quiet 40-acre private property and is surrounded by Ouachita National Forest, horse and hiking trails, has a large fishing pond, and sits next to Post Mountain Lake. This stunning cabin villa has it all with fantastic views while still being just minutes away from all the fun and adventure of restaurants, small-town boutique shops, and outdoor activities at Lake Wister State Park, Heavener Runestone Park, Talimena Scenic Byway, Spiro Mounds, and Cavanal Hill among many more. It’s a perfect place to unwind and relax while creating new memories with family and friends. The modern kitchen has beautiful custom-made cabinets, countertops, and stainless-steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain! The terrace patio (with rocking chairs, patio table, barbeque, and second refrigerator) is a wonderful escape from all the action.
Property Amenities
There are outstanding views of the mountains and forest behind the cabin. The modern kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, glassware, and cookware – everything you need to cook and entertain! The bathrooms are stocked with toiletries and towels for your stay, and a laundry room with a washer and drier is available on the premises.
The expansive floor plan offers 6 bedrooms and 12 beds (4 Queens, 7 Twin, and 1 Queen Sofa bed). There are 3.5 downstairs bathrooms and one half-bath on the second floor. The bedrooms for each family in this cabin was designed with comfort and luxury in mind. This living room and dining room areas and loft upstairs allow family and friends to enjoy their time together while still having plenty of space for everyone to spread out.
When it’s time to head outdoors, the enormous wrap-around covered patio deck allows family and friends to comfortably congregate, while still having numerous sitting areas to escape and unwind. Relax in the large 6-person Jacuzzi hot tub, dine with a view in our new outdoor pavilion with a fully furnished dining area, make pizza or any baked goodies in the 44” artisanal brick pizza oven/outdoor fireplace, have a blast singing karaoke, enjoy a roaring fire at the fire pit, and enjoy a fun cookout on the gas grill. Board games and smart entertainment features for movies and entertainment are included indoors. There’s something for everyone at Copper Penny Cabin.
There is a horse trail leading to Cedar Lake Camp and all over the surrounding mountains just 10 feet from the property. We've also added a corral and 1 acre of fenced area for guests' horses. There is no additional charge for these. Lastly, there are 10 to 15 acres of pasture all around. There is a cattle fence going around our property's 40 acres. Horse riders gathering welcome!
There is also plenty of parking space for cars and trailers in the large circle drive.
Free WIFI is available throughout the cabin for those who need to stay connected.

Ground Rules
There is sleeping space for up to 15 guests maximum occupancy. Exceeding maximum occupancy will result in cancellation of the reservation (regardless of age). Overcrowding of the cabin is not allowed. After 12 people, each extra guest (up to the 15 max) will be charged an additional $25 per person per night.
Pet Policy: No pets are allowed inside the cabin. However, you are welcome to set up their bedding crates on the patio. If you have any pet inquiries please reach out to the hostess.
$150 Cleaning Deposit at booking.
2-night/day minimum stay.
